Not-for-profit, faith-based, Mission-driven, 286 licensed bed hospital with 30 clinics led by a local community

Board of Directors and sponsored by the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System. (SCLHS)

A regional destination hospital with a comprehensive range of services, including:

  • Level II Trauma Center
  • Cardiothoracic and vascular medicine
  • Neurosurgery, Orthopedics and General Surgery
  • Designated “Breast Center of Excellence”
  • Family-centered maternal and child health, including a Level III NICU and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit

Community Services – Per our Mission, the below programs provide care and support to underserved populations:

•  SVPN Midwifery and Women’s Health Clinic – provides prenatal care to limited income pregnant women

•  SVH Mobile Mammography Coach – provides digital mammography services to communities across our rural region

•  SVH Ronald McDonald Care Mobile – provides dental and medical services for children who otherwise could not afford care

•  St. Vincent Children’s Healthcare – improves access to, and the quality of, healthcare for children through education and technological advancements

•  SVPN Fortin Pediatric Specialty Clinic – pediatric specialists serving our community children under one roof

•  Partners in Health Telemedicine Network (PHTN) – connecting rural community patients to specialists at SVH

Community Benefit

St. Vincent Healthcare works in collaboration with community health partners to survey the needs of the community and respond to identified needs in order to improve the health of the community.

     St. Vincent Healthcare provided $28,135,339 of community benefit in 2010 including:

  • $20 million in charity care and means-tested government programs
  • $5 million in subsidized services such as HELP Flight, rural primary care clinics and pediatric care
