Steve and Debbie Reger – 2015 Honored SAINT
Fortin, Bair and Parmly were names synonymous with philanthropy in Billings in the 20th Century. In the 21st Century, joining the past prestigious line-up of philanthropists, are Steve and Debbie Reger. Their generosity is recognized by organizations throughout the Billings community, including the Moss Mansion, ZooMontana, Montana State University Billings, Billings Clinic, the American Diabetes Association, and St. Vincent Healthcare. In 2013 their profound gift of $1.1 million made possible the Steve and Debbie Reger Hybrid Operating Room, transforming heart and vascular care in our region.
The Regers get an up-close view of the Steve and Debbie Reger Hybrid Operating Room.
Both Steve and Debbie understand personally and intimately what it means for a family to struggle with critical care health issues. As a result, their deep desire is to keep patients as close to home as possible for their care so their families can support them on their arduous road to recovery.
With a love of family and community and as champions for patients, Steve and Debbie have extended their generosity to St. Vincent Children’s Healthcare and tonight’s initiative, renovation of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). As 21st Century philanthropists, their Challenge Auction gift will combine with the funds raised tonight to assure patients have 24/7 care and immediate access to the best medical staff and treatments available in a 21st Century facility.
We are honored to recognize Steve and Debbie Reger, who together exemplify a love of humanity (the definition of philanthropy) as our Honored SAINT of 2015.
