Center of Excellence

The St. Vincent Healthcare Yellowstone Breast Center is recognized by the American College of Radiology (ACR) for demonstrating excellence in breast imaging by successfully achieving accreditation in Mammography, Stereotactic Breast Biopsy, Breast Ultrasound and Ultrasound-Guided Breast Biopsy.

The SVH Yellowstone Breast Center is the only breast imaging center in Eastern Montana and Wyoming to hold this honor. Additionally, the SVH Yellowstone Breast Center is a "Certified NQMBC Program Participant" with the National Consortium of Breast Centers (NCBC). The National Quality Measurements of Breast Centers measures indicators in imaging/diagnostics, pathology and surgery/treatment of breast centers and compares results with all other participating centers throughout the country. Over a year of data has been submitted and the Yellowstone Breast Center measured in the top 25% in nearly every category which equals or exceeds the established benchmarks of the NCBC.
