Pain Management

At the St. Vincent Healthcare Pain Center, we provide an unmatched level of pain management services to people throughout our region. Our interdisciplinary approach means that every patient receives individualized care at the level they most need.

Our team includes neurosurgeons, anesthesiologists, physiatrists, physical and occupational therapists, behavioral health professionals and nurses. They meet reguarly to evaluate each patient's progress and recommend treatment options. Our goal for each patient is to:

• Safely and effectively reduce and manage pain levels
• Allow them to achieve activity and lifestyle goals
• Understand their pain and find ways to cope with and manage it
• Provide the tools they need to help their families understand the realities and impact of chronic pain

Patients accepted into the St. Vincent Healthcare Pain Management Program must be referred by a physician, medical facility or medical case manager. To maximize his or her chance of success, every patient accepted into the program is expected to actively engage in the treatment process and comply with certain requirements.
