Dr. Okcay is passionate about providing exceptional care to patients of all ages, and takes the time necessary to gain an understanding of the patient’s concerns and condition. Patients enjoy working with her because she not only uses the latest and best techniques to diagnose problems, but also she explains the options available in an easily understood way. She focuses on not only treating the sleep problems and associated problems experienced as a result, but also improving the quality of life and the wellbeing of her patients and their families.
A graduate of Cukurova University, Dr. Okcay completed her residency at Northeast Iowa Family Medicine. A fellowship in Sleep Medicine followed at the Mayo Clinic. She was also a clinical research fellow at the Cardiovascular/Sleep Laboratories at Mayo Clinic-Rochester. She has completed extensive clinical research and has published several works on cardiovascular disease and sleep apnea.
Dr. Okcay enjoys spending her personal time with her husband and two young daughters and staying active in the outdoors as well as cooking and painting.
