St. Vincent Healthcare: New Mountain View Clinic
May 03, 2010
Blessing and Groundbreaking Ceremony
Red Lodge, Montana – Less than three months after announcing its continuing commitment to the patients and community in the Red Lodge area, St. Vincent Healthcare blessed and broke ground on its new, expanded, technologically advanced, conveniently located and patient-centered clinic in Red Lodge. The Ceremony took place today - Monday, May 3, 2010 at Noon at 5 Robinson Lane, along Highway 212, Red Lodge.
The face of healthcare is changing and today’s patient desires and depends on more modernized care delivery. With the relocation of the Beartooth Hospital and Health Center and a projected population growth of 2.6% over the next five years in the area, a larger, more efficient clinic is critical to preventing delays in care and will support St. Vincent Healthcare’s Drs. Bradley Fouts, MD and Deirdre McNamer, MD in their call and emergency care to hospital patients.
“St. Vincent Healthcare understands the best healthcare is healthcare that is closest to home and this groundbreaking brings us one step closer to ensuring the region has the level of medical service area families need and depend on now and into the future,” said Jim Paquette, St. Vincent Healthcare President/CEO.
The new 7600 square foot clinic will have additional, larger patient rooms, an updated lab and digitalized x-ray system; a dedicated conference room for use of telemedicine to access primary, consultative and specialty health care services regionally; and dedicated exam and procedure rooms for visiting specialists, enhancing the viability of Beartooth Hospital and Health Center and keeping specialty care for patients here at home.
The new Clinic is expected to open in November 2010. St. Vincent Healthcare’s Mountain View Clinic physicians, nurses and staff have been serving Red Lodge area patients and families for the last two decades. A commitment St. Vincent and the St. Vincent Healthcare Foundation believe deeply in supporting.
The new St. Vincent Healthcare Mountain View Clinic is a philanthropic mission of the St. Vincent Healthcare Foundation. The Foundation, its Board of Directors and its donors are making progress to fund this healthcare mission which will total 3.46 Million dollars. This bold undertaking can only be accomplished in partnership with philanthropists and medical professionals throughout the region. To date, the foundation has raised nearly $2.7m in donor support from throughout the region. To help further this philanthropic mission call the St. Vincent Healthcare Foundation at 406-237-3600.
