Denver, Colo. (June 4, 2015) – There are plenty of reasons to get to know SCL Health, from the exceptional quality and patient satisfaction to the warmth and devotion of our nurses and physicians. But don’t take our word for it. Becker's Hospital Review, a leading healthcare publication, has included SCL Health in the first-ever list of 50 Great Health Systems to Know in the U.S.

SCL Health was chosen based on a variety of factors ranging from awards and recognition to what other healthcare leaders consider to be measures of excellence. The list was compiled by the publication’s editorial team and includes other well-known health systems such as the Mayo Clinic and Johns Hopkins.

Based in the Denver area, SCL Health is a faith-based, nonprofit system providing care in Colorado, Kansas and Montana. The health ministry includes eight hospitals and more than 190 ambulatory service centers, home health care, hospice, mental health care, and safety net services.

Earlier this year, SCL Health was recognized by another leading organization, Truven Health Analytics, as being among the top 20 percent of health systems nationally, based on a comprehensive evaluation of quality metrics.
