Out-of-Town Patients

St. Vincent Healthcare serves cancer patients throughout southern Montana and northern Wyoming, including those who may live in rural communities several hours from our cancer treatment centers. Some therapies, such as radiation treatments, may require daily visits, meaning you will either need to travel to the center and back home again for several days or weeks or stay in a hotel. We recognize either option may affect you either physically or financially.

Through the St. Vincent Healthcare Foundation and People Everywhere Are Kind and Sharing (PEAKS), you can receive assistance with transportation, lodging and other needs during treatment. You may also make arrangements to stay at Meadowlark House, twin duplexes on the city’s West End, at no charge by contacting the Foundation at (406) 237-3600. The American Cancer Society also works with St. Vincent Healthcare patients to locate hotels and motels offering reduced rates. The ACS navigator at St. Vincent Healthcare may be reached at 406-238-6305.

If you are receiving treatment at Big Horn Basin Regional Cancer Center, you may take advantage of reduced rates at local hotels thanks to partnerships established between the Center and local business owners. Please contact Big Horn Basin Regional Cancer Center for more details at 888-870-7377.
