Living Well With Cancer
The physical and emotional side effects you feel as a result of being diagnosed with cancer or because of the treatments you undergo may be wide reaching. St. Vincent Healthcare Frontier Cancer Center has created a Wellness & Prevention Program to help you manage those things you may be experiencing.
The Wellness & Prevention Program at St. Vincent Healthcare focuses on your individual needs. From learning to choose and prepare nutritious foods that your body can better tolerate to smoking cessation, proper exercise and stress management, we provide the information and support you need.

Offered in partnership with the Billings Family YMCA, the 12-week LiveStrong program is designed to meet the needs of cancer patients who are making the shift to cancer survivor. Attending a minimum of two classes each week, participants strengthen muscles, increase flexibility and improve energy levels. For additional information, phone contact the YMCA at 248-1685.
Celebrating Life: Cancer Survivor Program
As you transition from being a cancer patient to being a cancer survivor, you may struggle taking the steps towards returning to the life you had before your diagnosis. You may have physical changes resulting from treatment, or you may be working to deal with some the emotional nature of your experience.
To ensure you receive the support and guidance you need, St. Vincent Healthcare Frontier Cancer Center offers Celebrating Life, a comprehensive survivorship series offering tools and resources to thrive after cancer treatment.
This series covers:
- Medical Follow-Up and Communication
- Effects of Cancer Treatment
- Physical Activity
- Naturopathic Medicine
- Emotional Health and Wellness

THRIVE NOW Patient Education Classes
Held every Tuesday from 12:15pm-12:45pm at St. Vincent Frontier Cancer Center
Please join the naturopathic physicians, Dr. Danielle Phillips-Dorsett, to learn more about how you can positively impact your health. These are drop-in classes that are free of charge and are open to patients, family members and friends. The topics of these classes include: Power of Protein, Supplement Q & A, Cancer Fighting Foods, Stress Reduction, Impact of Sugar, Bone Health, and Combating Fatigue. The naturopathic physicians are also happy to answer any questions that you may have during this time.
