After thorough testing and diagnosis, your physician will create a treatment plan specifically focused on your individual needs. Whenever possible, non-invasive treatments will be used to relieve your back or neck pain and address its underlying cause.
These treatments may include:
Rest and/or restricted activity
- Over-the-counter medications
- Physical therapy
- Prescription muscle relaxers or pain relievers
- Interventional injections
If the non-invasive treatments recommended by your doctor are not effective, or if more invasive interventions are immediately needed, surgery may be appropriate.
