20 oz. raw chicken breasts (boneless, skinless)
2 garlic cloves (diced)
1 tsp. oil
16 oz. potatoes (sliced)
1 red pepper (chopped)
16 oz. fresh or frozen green beans
1 (16 oz.) jar low-fat spaghetti sauce
1 tsp. fennel seed
1 tsp. dried basil
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/4 tsp. salt
Cook chicken and garlic with the oil until done. Microwave potatoes, red pepper, and green beans until tender.
Combine chicken, garlic, potatoes, pepper and green beans in a large pot. Add marinara sauce and remaining seasonings.
Simmer on medium heat for 15 minutes.
Four servings: 400 calories, 35 grams protein
