We offer a full complement of services for women who are experiencing a high-risk pregnancy. These include diagnostic services, such as a comprehensive ultrasound evaluation and prenatal screening and testing. We use 2D, 3D and 4D imaging technology to ensure the best image quality available.
If your baby has been found to have a health problem prior to birth, the maternal-fetal medicine specialists at St. Vincent Healthcare may also provide intensive fetal monitoring throughout gestation and treatments and interventions prior to delivery. These types of interventions include medication delivery to the baby, blood transfusions and shunt placements.
Our specialists are available around the clock to assist in high-risk deliveries. If transportation is required for out-of-town patients before or during labor, a specialized OB/Neonatal team is able to do so using our HELP Flight air ambulances.
St. Vincent Healthcare’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) is ready to help your baby should he or she need specialized care after delivery. Pediatric specialists, including cardiologists and neurologists are also able to provide your little one the best care available.
